Big Time Rush takes the stage at Eventim Apollo and brings the house down. A never-ending queue of fans eagerly waiting to enter. The bold, black “SOLD OUT” sign looms overhead, adding to the excitement in the air. The crowd buzzes with energy, and merchandise stands are swarmed by people eager to snap up hoodies, t-shirts, cups, tote bags, and posters.

After a 13-year hiatus, Big Time Rush has triumphantly returned, delighting fans with a much-anticipated European tour. The band compromises of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. Their last visit to the UK was back in 2011, making this comeback an extraordinary event for long-time fans. As they take the stage once more, Big Time Rush promises a nostalgic yet fresh experience, reminding everyone why they became a beloved phenomenon in the first place.

For the opening act, Big Time Rush invited Spencer Sutherland, whose amazing voice captivated the crowd and set the perfect tone for the evening. His performance was a hit, engaging the audience and building the excitement for the main event.

As the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted into chants of “Big Time Rush, Big Time Rush,” rising from their seats in unison. The electrifying pop beats of “Big Night” began to boom across the venue, sending the audience into a frenzy as the band took the stage. The excitement was palpable as they launched into their performance, instantly setting the mood for the entire concert. The energy soared even higher with the next song, “Windows Down,”. A highlight was Logan’s impressive backflip, which drew ecstatic cheers from the crowd.

They performed tracks from their new album, including “Waves.” If the backflip didn’t wow you already, his voice certainly did. As Logan kicked off the song, he showcased his incredible vocal talent, sending the crowd into a frenzy. James captivated the crowd with his angelic and iconic bridge in “Waves” singing, “All about, all about, all about us. Gimme that, gimme that, gimme that rush,” leaving everyone in awe.

Big Time Rush also treated the audience to a nostalgic trip down memory lane, playing beloved classics like “Elevate,” “Song for You,” “Boyfriend,” “Cover Girl,” “Halfway There,” “Nothing Even Matters,” “Love Me, Love Me,” “City Is Ours,” and “Till I Forget About You.” Fans, even with seats available, stood up throughout the concert, cheering and singing along to every word. The experience evoked everyone’s inner child, as fans — some of whom have been eagerly waiting since they were 12 — were overjoyed to finally experience a Big Time Rush concert.

Four lucky fans had their dreams come true as they were invited on stage to perform “Worldwide,” the band’s most iconic song. For these devoted fans, it was a moment they had always hoped for, and their joy was evident as they hugged and danced alongside their idols. The evening reached a special high with the song “Paralyzed,” which deeply connected with the audience and had everyone jumping.

To cap off the concert, the band performed “Big Time Rush,” the theme song that launched it all. It was the perfect finale, wrapping up an unforgettable night. The concert was truly one of life’s great experiences — marked by stellar performances, exceptional fan interaction, and the band’s undeniable charm. Fans left exhilarated and eagerly anticipating their next tour. Here’s hoping they’ll make their way back to the UK soon.
